I couldn’t fault the care from the staff during my time at A&E.
Arrived 7pm to be with my father, left 3pm next day.
Only time a doctor was sighted was when we were intending to walk out at 3am having been left in a cubicle with my father on a trolley too small for him and nurses doing routine blood pressure, pulse examination etc.
Zero communication as to treatment plans, results of tests etc.
Worst hospital experience ever.
Because I was left for hours and was only coz of pestering that was then cared for
The Dr I saw initially was really good
And the triage Dr also very good
I ended up waiting for 14 hours waiting for results as each department thought I was referred to another and I just fell through the cracks despite asking a few times.
I came in with breathing problems (heart rate 144) via ambulance. I spent over 10 hours there. In that time I had no observations done, I wasn’t checked over at all. All I had was a blood test and then waited 7 hours for the results and the doctor would not listen to me about my symtoms or breathing and sent me home. I am in the process of a massive complaint involving a solicitor as it was absolutely appalling
Was seen early as I arrived early. Nurse was very po
lite and spoke up so I could hear her
As received text msg for the feedback.
Very friendly staff and explained everything very clearly
Care is always very good, but there is room for improvement
The care and skill of all the staff was excellent.
